Eddie Carella (b. 1978) is a self-taught artist whose work is inspired by mythology, folklore tales, legends, and fantastic characters.  He works primarily with two-dimensional media, including drawing and painting. Carella’s storytelling style also involves landscape elements and ornate marks that vary in size, shape, and colors. His works have been exhibited at the Cullman Education Center at MoMA, The Open Invitational Art Fair, The Outsider Art Fair, and others.  He currently lives and works in The Bronx.
