Malik Dillard-Jakubowicz (b. 2001) is a self-taught artist based in Brooklyn. His work explores the act of writing as a visual language, utilizing materials such as Sharpie, acrylic paint, and oil pastel. Layered with overlapping marks, his pieces are formed through continuous writing, and small faces and figures often emerge from within the lines.
